Within CeMaCE students have the opportunity to learn more about the interdisciplinary subject marine chemical ecology at different educational levels.

Several of the center's members teach on an advanced 15 ECTS in Marine Chemical Ecology each spring. This course is part of the master of Science Program at the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences, but can also be taken as a seperate course.

Students can also do projects for their Bachelor or Master exams within CeMaCE. Since the center was established, two bachelor and seven master students have finished their thesis work within CeMaCE.

CeMaCE also arrange graduate courses in areas relevant to the center. In 2013, a graduate course in metabolomics with teachers from Germany, Britain and Sweden attracted 16 participants (> 50 applicants) from 8 countries. In 2014, a graduate course in structural determination of marine natural products, and a course in meta-analysis, will be arranged. Four graduate students have completed their doctoral degree and seven graduate students are presently active in CeMaCE.
